Our fees reflect consultant-level expertise and the genuine time we invest in each patient. Initial consultations are longer than you will find at most private practices – because a thorough assessment at the outset saves time, uncertainty, and cost further down the line. For those undertaking a longer journey, our partnership packages offer structured support at a meaningfully reduced overall cost.
All initial consultations are conducted by a consultant psychiatrist. A written clinical summary is included as standard and can be shared with your GP on request.

A note on insurance
We are not currently registered with private health insurers. We provide receipts and clinical summaries after every consultation, which many patients submit for partial reimbursement. Please check your policy terms before booking – we are unable to guarantee any level of reimbursement.
Structured clinical support · Not optional
These programmes are the standard pathway for patients undertaking a planned taper with us – not an optional add-on. Regular follow-up is a clinical necessity: tapering without scheduled review carries genuine risks, and we take our duty of care seriously. Sessions are typically held monthly and completed within the agreed timeframe. In some situations, the most appropriate clinical decision may be consolidation rather than further reduction – the programme supports you throughout, whatever the pace.
A note on getting started
An initial psychiatric assessment (see above) is required before joining either programme. This allows your consultant to conduct a full medication review, establish your clinical picture, and confirm which programme is appropriate for your situation. The assessment is booked and paid for separately – programme enrolment follows once it is complete.
For patients beginning a planned deprescribing journey – typically those on a single medication or a lower dose seeking a structured, safely supported taper.
Equivalent sessions booked individually: 6 standard follow-ups + 1 check-in = £2,665
Enquire About This ProgrammeAll programmes begin with a free 15-minute discovery call. Enrolment is confirmed in writing before any sessions are scheduled.
For patients on higher doses, multiple medications, or those who have experienced difficulties with rapid tapering before – where a slower, more closely supported taper is clinically indicated.
Equivalent sessions booked individually: 10 standard follow-ups + 1 extended review = £4,770
Enquire About This ProgrammeRecommended for complex tapers. A discovery call will help confirm which programme is clinically appropriate for your situation.
Renewing or extending your programme
There is no expectation to complete a full taper within a single programme timeframe. Toward the end of your programme, you will have the opportunity to review progress with your consultant and, where appropriate, renew for a further period or transition to a longer-term plan. This is always subject to mutual agreement and guided by your clinical progress.
Flexible payment arrangements
We understand that committing to a programme represents a significant financial decision. If spreading the cost would make this more accessible for you, we are open to discussing a payment arrangement. Please raise this during your discovery call and we will do our best to find a workable path forward.
Also available through the clinic
Alongside our CQC-regulated psychiatric services, the clinic offers a range of complementary and integrative therapies – including transformational coaching, EFT therapy, nutritional support, and other wellbeing practices. These services are not medical consultations and are priced separately.

Answers to the questions we hear most often before a first booking.
Do I need a GP referral to book?
No. You can self-refer directly. We recommend informing your GP that you are seeking a private psychiatric consultation, but it is not a requirement for booking.
Will you write to my GP?
Yes – and we include this as standard with every consultation, with your consent. A clear clinical letter to your GP is particularly important for shared care of prescriptions and for ensuring your NHS records are kept up to date.
What is the urgent consultation for?
It is designed for patients who need clinical attention within a short window – for example, significant withdrawal symptoms, mid-taper difficulties, or an urgent medication question. It is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in acute distress, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or attend A&E.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies considerably. A second opinion may take one or two sessions. Deprescribing is not a short process – our care programmes of 6 or 10 months are the standard pathway for patients undertaking a planned taper with us. Before joining a programme, you will first have an initial psychiatric assessment, which establishes your clinical picture and confirms the appropriate programme for your situation. We will always give you a clear picture of what to expect at that stage.
What does the combined ADHD & Autism assessment involve?
It is a single extended assessment covering both conditions within one clinical framework. This is particularly useful for adults who have not found a clear answer from previous single-condition assessments, or who strongly suspect both. The assessment produces a comprehensive dual report and is conducted entirely by a consultant psychiatrist.
Can you prescribe medication?
Yes, where clinically appropriate. Our consultant psychiatrists are fully licensed to prescribe psychiatric medication privately. We do not prescribe controlled drugs remotely without a prior in-person assessment.
What is the post-diagnosis ADHD support package?
It covers the period between diagnosis and stable, independently managed treatment – often the most uncertain phase for patients. Three 45-minute follow-ups guide medication titration, and we handle GP liaison and shared care documentation on your behalf. Many patients find their GP accepts a shared care agreement more readily with a clear consultant letter and structured handover.
Can I book individual follow-ups for deprescribing rather than a programme?
We strongly advise against it. Deprescribing without a scheduled, structured review programme carries genuine clinical risks – particularly when patients disengage mid-taper without a formal reassessment. Our care programmes exist to ensure continuity and safety at every stage. The initial assessment is always a prerequisite; following that, enrolment into the appropriate programme is the expected next step. If you have specific circumstances that make a full programme difficult, please raise this during your discovery call and we will find the most appropriate path forward.
Can I be seen in person outside London?
In-person appointments are currently available in London only. Patients from anywhere in the UK can be seen via video, with no difference in clinical quality or the documents provided. We are exploring additional clinic locations as the practice grows.
