Not the Harley Street
volume model

Many London private psychiatry practices operate on high throughput and short appointments. We do the opposite — longer consultations, fewer patients, deeper engagement.

02

Consultant-led
throughout

You will always be seen by a highly experienced psychiatrist — not a trainee or junior clinician. The same clinician at every appointment.

03

London in-person
or online UK-wide

We offer in-person consultations at our London location and online appointments across the UK. Both formats deliver the same quality of care.

Psychiatric care in London

What private psychiatry in London
should look like

Private psychiatry in London can mean many different things. At one end, it means a 20-minute appointment, a prescription, and a repeat in three months. At the other, it means what we offer — a thorough assessment of your full clinical picture, time to understand what has and has not worked, and a collaborative approach to what happens next.

Our London practice is deliberately small. We see a limited number of patients, which means each one receives the clinical attention their situation deserves.

“calm

We work with adults who are:

  • Questioning a long-standing diagnosis or treatment plan and wanting an independent clinical view
  • On long-term psychiatric medication and wondering whether it is still appropriate or whether they could safely reduce
  • Experiencing significant side effects from medication that have not been properly addressed
  • Seeking an ADHD assessment — thorough, consultant-led, and beyond a basic checklist
  • Looking for psychiatric support that takes their whole situation into account, not just their symptoms
90min initial consultations — the time we believe is necessary to properly understand your situation before forming any clinical view
1 consultant throughout — the same highly experienced clinician at every appointment, never a different doctor each time

Our process

What a London consultation
with us involves

1

Initial enquiry

Contact us by the form on our website, by email, or by phone. We will respond promptly and help you decide whether an initial consultation is the right next step. There is no obligation at this stage.

2

Initial consultation — 90 minutes

A thorough, unhurried review of your psychiatric history, current situation, any previous diagnoses and treatments, and what you are hoping to achieve. In-person in London or by secure video. This is the foundation of everything that follows.

3

Clinical formulation and recommendations

We provide our independent clinical view — including our assessment of the diagnosis, what we believe should be considered, and a clear recommendation. A written summary is provided.

4

Ongoing care — 60 to 90 minutes per appointment

If you continue with us, follow-up appointments are typically 60 to 90 minutes. We do not do 15-minute reviews. Every appointment has time built in for a genuine clinical conversation.
