UK-wide Online Practice · No referral needed
Online Psychiatry · UK-wide
All of our services are available online across the UK. Private consultant psychiatry that does not require a journey to London — and does not compromise on clinical depth.
Clinically equivalent
Online psychiatric consultations deliver the same clinical depth as in-person appointments. Assessment, formulation, prescribing and ongoing monitoring — all fully available online.
Available UK-wide
We accept patients from anywhere in England. You do not need to be in London to access consultant-level psychiatric care — or to avoid long NHS waiting lists.
Private and secure
All online consultations use an encrypted, GDPR-compliant video platform. Your session is completely private — nobody else in your household needs to know you have an appointment.
Online psychiatric care
This is the question most people ask before booking an online appointment — and the honest answer is: for most of what we do, yes.
Psychiatric assessment relies primarily on conversation, careful listening and clinical observation. All of this translates well to video. There are some situations where in-person is preferable:
For everything else — including the majority of second opinions, medication reviews, ADHD assessments and deprescribing support — online works exceptionally well.
The experience
Before your appointment
You will receive a secure link by email ahead of your appointment. No app download is required — the consultation runs in your browser. We recommend joining from a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly.
What to have ready: any previous psychiatric letters, GP summaries or clinic notes you feel are relevant.
During the appointment
Your initial appointment is 90 minutes. The consultant will take a thorough history — your background, your mental health journey, what you are currently taking, and what you are hoping to explore or change. Follow-up appointments are typically 60 to 90 minutes.
Technical requirements
A smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone is all you need. A stable internet connection is important — contact us in advance if you have any concerns about connectivity.
Is online right for you?
Online works particularly well if you:
Not a crisis service
We are not an urgent or emergency psychiatric service. If you are in acute distress, please contact your GP, call 111, or in an emergency call 999. Our service is for people who are broadly stable and seeking planned clinical care.
Available wherever you are
