Thoughtful Psychiatry for Complex Decisions
Safe deprescribing, second opinions, and whole-person psychiatric care that honours meaning as well as medicine.
Led by UK-registered psychiatrists, with experience across NHS and private care.
Many people come to us after years of psychiatric treatment that has focused on managing symptoms rather than understanding the person.
→ You may have been told that your medication is lifelong.
→ That increasing the dose is the only option.
→ That your difficulties are purely chemical or diagnostic.
And yet, despite doing everything asked of you, something still feels unresolved.
We work with people who sense there must be another way — and want expert guidance rather than guesswork.
A Different Way of Practising Psychiatry
Psychiatric care can sometimes become focused primarily on symptom control. We take a slower, more reflective approach that prioritises understanding alongside treatment.
Our approach is:
- medically responsible and consultant-led
- thoughtful rather than protocol-driven
- grounded in careful listening and clinical judgement
- especially cautious and structured when reviewing or reducing medication
We aim to support clarity, agency and long-term capacity — not dependency on treatment.
How We Can Support You
A focused set of services designed around real-world needs, not one-size-fits-all care.
Structured Deprescribing
For people who want to reduce reliance on medication without fear or pressure.
Many people come to us feeling uncertain, dependent, or unheard after years of psychiatric medication use.
Deprescribing is not about stopping medication abruptly or taking unnecessary risks.
It is a careful, collaborative process that considers your history, your nervous system, your life context and your reasons for wanting change.
We support adults who want to:
- review long-term antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilisers or sedatives
- understand what their medication is doing — and what it may no longer be helping with
- reduce or stop medication gradually, with proper planning and psychiatric oversight
Our role is to help you move away from default, indefinite prescribing towards informed choice, clarity and stability – at a pace that prioritises safety and long-term wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your questions are important to us, and we’re here to help.
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. We provide independent psychiatric assessment and prescribing when clinically appropriate. We also specialise in careful medication review and structured deprescribing where suitable.
Do you help people reduce or stop psychiatric medication?
Yes, when it is safe and clinically appropriate. Deprescribing is gradual, medically supervised, and tailored to the individual. Safety and informed consent are central.
Is this a crisis or emergency service?
No. We are not a crisis service. If you require urgent or emergency support, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services.
Who is this service best suited for?
Adults who want a thoughtful, collaborative approach to psychiatric care – particularly those questioning long-term medication use or seeking a careful second opinion.
Do you offer remote consultations?
Yes. Most consultations are conducted online, allowing access across the UK. In-person appointments are available in London on selected clinic days.
Can prescriptions be transferred to my GP under shared care?
Shared care is sometimes possible but depends on your GP’s agreement and local policies. This is discussed transparently during consultation.
What are your fees?
Consultation fees are listed on our Fees & Appointments page. We believe in clarity and do not use hidden charges.
How do I know if this approach is right for me?
If you are looking for rapid prescriptions or protocol-driven care, this may not be the right fit. If you value careful review, clinical reasoning, and long-term clarity, it may be.
