This is for you

If you are looking for something beyond the mainstream

This workshop is for adults drawn to alternative, holistic, and spiritually aligned ways of understanding themselves — and their place in the world — who long for healing, peace, and a fuller sense of abundance in life.

  • You sense that past experiences still colour how you meet the present — and you are ready for a different kind of understanding.
  • You have tried managing thoughts, feelings, or symptoms, and wonder whether something quieter and deeper is available.
  • You are open to a psycho-spiritual view of mind: that wellbeing is not something to force, but something we can return to.
  • You want insight that continues after the weekend — not a workbook of techniques to practise.

Therapists, coaches, and healthcare professionals who share this orientation are warmly welcome. No prior knowledge of the Three Principles is required.

About the workshop

A different kind of understanding

This is not a traditional teaching-based workshop. Through stories, dialogue, reflection, and real-life insights, you begin to see that while some life events can be painful in the moment, they do not define who we are at our core.

Drawing on decades in psychiatry, neuroscience, coaching, and spiritual insight, Drs Pettit and Bora point to a simple possibility: a return to the experience of wholeness is not an exception — it is the rule in action. Beyond the noise of low or anxious thinking lies something constant — a deeper intelligence, a natural resilience, and an innate capacity for clarity, peace, and wellbeing.

The foundation

Rooted in the Three Universal Principles first articulated by Sydney Banks.

Mind

The universal intelligence behind all life — the energy and wisdom that underlies human experience. Not the personal mind, but the intelligence of life itself.

Consciousness

The gift of awareness — what allows us to know our experience as it unfolds, from the inside out.

Thought

The creative power that shapes how we experience life from moment to moment. Understanding thought as the medium of experience changes everything.

What to expect

What you will experience

You will not be handed a workbook or told what to think. Through stories, open dialogue, and reflection, you begin to see something new — and that seeing itself is the change.

  1. 01

    How experience is created

Understand how human experience is created in the moment — and why this insight changes how we relate to painful memories.

  2. 02

    Why distress can settle

Why distress can feel so real — and how it naturally shifts when we stop fighting it. Not through technique, but through a deeper understanding of thought.

  3. 03

Beyond the stories of the past

How identities form around pain — and how they can dissolve. The labels we carry need not define us. Something deeper always remains.

  4. 04

    Resilience as your natural state

Why healing and peace are not something we need to force — they are the default of a mind that has been allowed to settle.
